This place is a hidden delicious deli that you think is just a gas station but in reality, it is a culinary dream. Highly recommend any sub but love the philly cheese and the chicken cutlet. A+++++++

Deli U has come back, chilli is unbelievable the sandwiches are huge like back in 2006 and the employees are now friendly unlike the crew that was there before.

Not the cleanest place I've walked into. But the service is fast, every grinder I have ate has been fantastic and the place is always busy! They do seem to close early however.

Just left the Delhi after getting to breakfast sandwiches now start by saying that after ownership changed at the deli quality went down dramatically now they just recently fired their head cook And the breakfast sandwiches I received this morning or the most disgraceful things I had ever seen and at around $5 a sandwich needless to say I am very disappointed and will never be returning again I can go down the road to the little store by Kwan a pog and pay the same money for a great sandwich or drive to Branford in for half the money at crouchers get a great sandwich but this what I got today was pitiful

I hate to say how absolutely everything they make is delicious because there will be even more people there at lunch time. They ate Fantastic...I even bring home dinners and platters for parties.

Truly one of the last great delis. You can't go wrong here, order anything. Buy your friends a sandwich. Avoid the lunch rush or don't, the food is worth it. Get your mom a sandwich. They also got a big ole doggo walking around sometimes keeping the customers and employees happy.

Best deli on the shoreline

I ordered a chicken cutlet with mayo and toppings but they gave me a chicken parm sandwich then I paid with a 20 and they gave me 2 dollars back. The staff is sketchy there and the place is super Grimey. Have also heard they sell tobacco products to minors. Very untrustworthy won’t return again.
